Wiring the system is the most difficult part of any swap and with all the changes ford has made over the years and the upgrades to computers it is a source of apprehension to most builders. I have a 67 f100 i swapped the front end over to the cv suspension and i got a 2000 cvpi with a 46 and stripped it completely i dont have the money to do a aftermarket plug and play type harness.

F100 4 6 swap wiring. Also what stared this whole thing was a rear end swap i wanted disc brakes on the truck and getting a disc brake for the 9 that truck has now would be about 300. I tried to use the mark viii harness it was a real pain in the email protected. Very fun project so far. I did the dohc 46 swap into my 68 f100. Factory ecm can be used in factory configuration. The 46 will be of the 96 98 type i will have the entire 46 enginebody harness and ecu. Hoping that i can use motor mounts of a mustang and set it in with out having to butcher everything up to do it.
