Triple aaa said my main battery fuse was blown. What is meant by fuse blown42 the internal fuse of the battery is no longer working theres no option to replace that hence the entire battery will need to be replaced.

Blown battery fuse honda. The battery doesnt look old at all. I went to start car with new battery and car was totally dead. If it blew there is something very wrong. They said my existing battery tested lower than normal so i asked them to replace. Btw have never replaced this fuse ever with 40000 plus on the clock. The next day the battery was dead.
Aaa came out and jumped the battery and it started. My battery is three years old yesterday i went to start the car and it was dead. So is it possible in your opinion that the tender went bad which in turn blew the fuse. It was so i check the fuse in the original pigtail connection from the old tender 75 and it is blown. There is also a small latch on either side of the fuse in the fuse box that you have to un click before swapping out the fuse depends on the modelmake of your car. As was mentioned do not try to by pass that fuse. Replaced battery because i thought it wouldnt hold charge but sounds like it was being drained by a short. If you really wanted to be smart you also would have used a memory saving device before swapping out the battery so the car radio settings are saved and your driving habits including engine parameters. Checked battery voltage before fuse and get a 21v reading. Pulled the fuse out and checked it its blown.
Battery is 2 years old. Now with new tender battery is charging. Jumped it and let it run turned off engine and it started ok but 3 hrs later it was dead again. It is the main fuse for the vehicle. I realize that since this fuse is blown the battery is not charging. I own a 2015 honda crv.
You want to test the line and see why it blew before you try to replace it.
