I want them to always have power not just when the key is in the run position. I was just messing around with the switches and my meter.

These relays power four blunt cut wires that are taped on a harness near the relay pack that can be found beneath the instrument panel and to the left of the steering column. All the fuses in the passenger side kick plate are all accessory power. I got my constant hot by tapping into the 12v accessory plug on the drivers side of the console. Cut the purple wire on the upfitter harness and splice the plug end of the wire with a constant hot source. I tried a wire jumper from a constant hot fuse to the upfitter fuse 44. Will have i have constant power to the switches or just when the key is turned on. Find the power wire going to the uplifter switches and find another power soure that has constant power and tie into that or you could run just a straight power wire to the switches from the batter.
It worked but now my door chime is always on when door is open as if i left the key in the ignition with lights on or something. Thats what ive done with mine to get constant power to my offroad lights if i need to use them while the truck is off. If only when turned on i will just have to find a way to find a hot lead that is always hot behind the dash panel. Im trying to avoid going through the fire wall. I popped that one the same way i did the 120 volt plug. The ford upfitter switches are optional instrument panel mount switches option code 66s that control passenger side mounted relays.
