I have used the search and all i can find is the the 95 up are wider does anyone know the width of a stock 88 on a fox body from wheel mounting flange to wheel mounting flangedrum to drum i am trying to find rear end to throw in my project and can find anyone that has the answer. This is about 075 wider each side than option 2so about 3 wider than the fox rear end. The basic housing comes with jig welded laser cut suspension brackets a re conditioned stock 9 inch housing center piece new 3 dom 316 walled axle tube and re conditioned housing ends. 2 94 98 sn95 rear end. 79 93 fox body rearends. The 99 04 rear end has a different wider housing and that coupled with the longer axle increases track width by 125 per side over a fox.
We also had an 88 rear sitting in a wrecked 88 mustang we bought for the 302 engine and we discovered that the fox body mustang 88 rear is a mere 3148 inch wider than the stock 8 inch 67.
