Im sure there is other brands around but as long as you get a sealant like this which contains ptfe. I would use the teflon thread sealant and allow it to cure before putting pressure on it.

Fuel line leak sealant. Use 3 to 5 coats for best results. This is not recommended because it risks breaking free. Theory is it allows the tapered threads to mesh better as the fitting can be tightened more. Step 3 use a flat tip screwdriver to lever off a stubborn fuel line if it is stuck. Using too little sealant can cause the tank to leak again very quickly and defeat the purpose of your repair. Spray permatex spray sealant liberally with a slow sweeping motion.

Clean both pieces and wipe with denatured alcohol before applying it and you should be fine. Cover a large area around the site of the leak to make sure that the leak is completely sealed.
I use this on most fuel and hydraulic fittings that require sealant and have not had a sealant failure in years. To choose the appropriate thread sealant look for its chemical resistance to fuel diesel or gasoline or oil running through the line. Use a screwdriver or socket wrench and appropriate socket to release fuel line fittings that you find while working on a leaking line. Open the line up on one end and drain any remaining fuel out before disconnecting the other end. Ptfe is a lubricant. Allow 30 to 45 minutes before returning the engine to service.
Apply an ample amount of sealer over a large area. Filling the tanks creates some pressure.
