Redline water wetter problems. Attention red line oil customers. Water wetter works by reducing the surface tension of the watercoolant mixture. It improves the heat transfer capabilities of the water. Some basics water is the most efficient coolant you can use in your engine. What i find is that they do not make a substatial difference in lower the overall temperature but more importantly they make the cooling system more effective overall they most importantly help reduce the hot spots that cause failures in. Does anyone have any experience with redline water wetter.

I have no problem with cooling water that was too hot but its not wrong to bring down the temperature of the water if it works sincerely daniel.
Temps went from 217ish to 194 steady. Running just water can cause issues with the water pump not being lubricated. Water wetter was designed for race cars that are not allowed to run coolant because it can be pretty slick when spilled. As i tried to say earlier it is a surfactant which improves the efficiency of water as a coolant. The problem with water is that it boils at 212 deg. I then drained and did a 5050 mix and still the same so i went and got this water wetter.
And a water wetter additive agent will not help nor cure this problem the water wetter is not there to lower the coolant temperature. Water alone will transfer more heat faster than anti freeze will. Please be advised that we are not accepting walk in customers at our benicia office at this time due to covid 19. Now i run about 15 20 coolant and the rest distilled water with the proper redline mixture.
